Someone invited me, via ravelry, to this UK Stitch n Bitch day but since it's in London I can't go. However I thought you might be interested:

However it's organised by the shop who had that crochet class failure, so I'm still suspicious if it'll be on. (Shouldn't really be bitter, especially since there's someone at the Plymouth SnB who's offered to teach me crochet, but old habits die hard.)
