Wish me luck...

I have decided that before starting my next project, I must first check my stash of yarn. Because we are trying to let the flat, my room remains in a constant, unnatural state of tidiness. Obviously, it's not tidy - I've just hidden everything in the wardrobe. And the bags of wool just keep getting added. I'm a bit worried i may have a mountain on my hands. It may possibly be volcanic.

However I have finished the baby cardigan in variegated sock wool. (Photos to follow when I can be bothered and hopefully modelled on a defenceless newborn.) Thankfully the baby was 10 days late otherwise she will have grown out of it by the time I get it to her parents. Although it may take another six months to decide what buttons to put on it. And perhaps another six to sew them on. By the time it's tidied and finished I suspect she'll be giving it to her children. Or grandchildren.

Now I'm going to venture into my room to find out the exact extent of my wool-ownership. Wish me luck!
